Event Description

The Xterra Dino Triathlon - Southern Indiana:  DINO LLC offers the longest-running XTERRA off-road triathlon in Indiana and one of the longest held in the nation. Our locations are near South Bend and Versailles. Both locations are time-tested venues with great mountain biking trails. In July, try out XTERRA at Potato Creek State Park. Potato Creek State Park offers a beginner-friendly course. This fifth-year venue is convenient to our Chicago and Michigan area athletes, near South Bend Indiana.

Participants give the course good reviews for fast and flowy action - come check it out! In August, we'll return to Versailles with a mountain bike course that is absolutely top-notch. The run course proves a true test with some steep climbs along the 5-mile loop. It's the more physically and technically challenging of the two races. This race is part of the Motus off-road series, which has developed in response to fewer XTERRA-licensed races in the United States. Each race also offers a canoe / kayak division to challenge the non-swimmer or adventure racer, as well as a duathlon option.  The DINO Triathlon courses are well-marked, but a bit more interesting than the standard road triathlon!
ASICS DYNABLAST™ as low as $99.95!
