With the health and safety of our community being an utmost priority, and in alignment with the South African Department of Health and the event partners in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, we can confirm that the 5150 Ekurhuleni triathlon originally scheduled for October 18 cannot take place in 2020 and will return on October 24, 2021. Hosted in the bustling aerotropolis of Ekurhuleni, east of Johannesburg and south east of Pretoria, this is a true city race with its proximity to one of South Africa's biggest triathlon hubs. The family friendly setting in Germiston Lake Park, lake swim, highway bike and contained run makes for great day out, while still in the city.
