The athletics and triathlon division is relatively small in number with around 40 athletes (20 of which are cross-country skiing also duathlon and triathlon), but of the sporting successes in the so-called "age group" is a very successful division of the club. The triathlon division was even able to win several German championship titles in the age group ranking as well as a vice world champion in triathlon. Nevertheless, absolute beginners are also very welcome at the TuS Holstein Quickborn.
