Event Description

2021 HVTC Summer Triathlon #2 - Join this group as we enter in to our 20th year of racing! This fun, friendly atmosphere is a perfect place to “get your feet wet” if you are thinking about competing in a multi-sport event. You will make great friends and have a blast staying fit and active. A serious speed workout for veteran athletes. All ages and ability levels welcome!

Race: Swim 400 yds., Bike 12 miles(hilly), Run 2 miles
2021 Dates: Wednesday evenings, June 16, July 14, August 11, September 8

A quick 400m triangular course swim in the mountain stream filled lake. On shore start. Wet suit legal. Certified lifeguard kayak support.


It’s hilly, really fun and a great challenge for every level rider.  

The twelve mile course is all right hand turns. 

Out of the Park turn right onto Wittenberg Road,
Right turn onto Coldbrook Road,
Right turn onto Route 28,
Right turn onto Route 212,
Right turn into Wilson State Park

SAG vehicle on course.  Course is NOT closed to traffic.


The bumpy two mile run is held entirely within the State Park. 

Stocked aid station in transition and at the turn-around point with Hammer Nutrition products and water.

The race can be entered as a relay team of 2 or 3 members; each completing 1-2 of the event legs.
